"This is a serious critical take on the artist's guerrilla approach to art and art history. It just turns out that Grovier has the same iconoclastic approach to the history of art as Banksy him (or her) self ... "

ENDANGERED SKY

A collection of elegiac poems side-by-side with dynamic and never-before-seen iPhone drawings by renowned artist Sean Scully, Endangered Sky is an ode to the vanishing beauty of the world’s imperilled bird population. Each pairing of drawing and lyric celebrates the mystery and wonder of a species of bird that is now under serious threat of extinction – from the New Caledonian Lorikeet to the Scarlet Honeycreeper, from the Chilean Woodstar to the Elfin Woods Warbler.
"This unique and intimate book collects hours of conversations between artist Sean Scully and his friend, art critic Kelly Grovier. Discussing everything from his tough childhood in London and homelessness in Dublin to his relationship to past masters such as Rembrandt and Rothko, ON THE LINE is an incredible account of a world-renowned artist, who never minces his words"
